Who’s Going to Read Your Blog?
Yesterday, I received a comment on my article about why blogging isn’t dead—it’s just evolved.
I generally don’t know where I’d be now if I hadn’t started writing and creating blogs 20 years ago. There is a good chance I could be struggling.
So I decided to answer this comment with a post, so thank you Ayantika for the comment.
“Who’s going to read my blog?” Is a question that stops so many people before they even begin.
Doubt and second-guessing ourselves can stop us in our tracks and prevent us from taking steps that might change our lives.
Social media is filled with voices telling you blogging is dead or that it’s not worth your time. But in reality, someone will read it—if you start writing.
When you launch a blog, you’re not competing with the entire internet. You’re simply creating a space to share your voice with the people who need to hear it. And there are people out there who do need to hear it.
Here Is How Your Writing Can Become a Successful Business
Whether it’s your unique perspective, your solutions to problems, or just the way you tell stories—there’s an audience for it.
It’s easy to feel discouraged by negativity from self-proclaimed “experts” who dismiss blogging. But let me ask you this, why listen to someone who’s decided blogging isn’t for them?
Their opinion doesn’t have to define your journey. If anything, it’s proof that the blogging space is still wide open for voices like yours.
Here’s the good news: blogging today isn’t about throwing words into a void and hoping for the best. It’s about creating connections. It’s about writing something valuable, sharing it in the right places, and letting your audience find you.
One post can turn into ten readers. Ten readers can turn into a loyal community.
The key is to start.
Forget about perfection or how many people will read your first post. Focus on writing for one person—the person who needs what you have to say.
Over time, the rest will fall into place.
The only nail in the coffin is the one you hammer in yourself when you don’t take that first step.
Blogging isn’t dead—it’s evolving. And you can be part of what’s next.
Here is a promise: If you start a blog and post the link in the comments below, I will read it.
